Parkview Health is actively seeking qualified Anesthesiologist Assistants to join their new and expanding program in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Specifics of Your Role as an Anesthesiologist Assistant
This position is full time with (4) 10 hour shifts per week or 7 on 7 off shift schedule
No nights & no call - excellent work/life balance!
Overtime is available if desired
This role will provide the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases
Requirements Bachelor's degree
Completed an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) program.
Certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).
Indiana State licensure.
No experience necessary provided all licensing, certifications, and clinical hours were completed in the post-baccalaureate program.
Strong communication skills. Respectful bedside manner.
Participate in quality assurance activity and appropriate utilization of health care resources. Ability to work well within a team atmosphere while supporting system initiatives.
The Team This is a MD/AA Care Team Model that has experienced growth due to the success and expansion of the hospital system.
Our team consists of 44 plus Anesthesiologists and 30 plus Anesthesiologist Assistants .
The team cares for hundreds of patients each year in various specialty lines, including cardiovascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, endoscopy, obstetric, pediatric, neurosurgery and more.
We serve patients at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Randallia Hospital, Parkview Southwest Surgery Center and Parkview Wabash .
