Certified Care Aides/Caregivers
Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Certified Care Aides/Caregivers. Qualicare location offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families. Qualicare has immediate openings for Certified Care Aides/Caregivers!
The Certified Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs. We are actively looking for qualified caregivers to cover both daytime shifts to help meet the diverse needs of our clients. We are seeking an experienced Home Care Aide (HCA) with specialized skills and experience in memory care and mobility support/transfers to support our senior clients in the South Bay area. Applicants must demonstrate reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Meal Preparation
Can perform light lifts as needed
Light Housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication Assist/ Reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow care-plan
Documentation/Charting
Qualifications
Certified Care Aide Certificate (HCA Registration)
Certified Nursing Assistant (strongly preferred)
Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Ability to travel around location territory / With reliable mode of transportation
Access to internet/mobile phone
18 years or older
Fingerprint/Live Scan Clearance
Entry-level and Annual Training
2+ years in home care or facility setting
Strong empathetic communication skills
Highly reliable and dependable with shift attendance
Bilingual: Spanish speaking or other languages highly desired

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
