Certified Central Sterile Process TechnicianRome Health is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician to join our team. This role ensures surgical instruments, devices, and equipment are decontaminated, sterilized, prepared, and packaged for safe patient care. We provide a supportive environment and will train the right candidate to succeed, even if certification is not yet obtained.Key Responsibilities:Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments, devices, and equipmentInspect, assemble, and package instruments following established safety protocolsMaintain accurate documentation of sterilization processesEnsure compliance with hospital and regulatory standardsParticipate in flexible scheduling, including on-call, rotating weekends, nights, and holidaysQualifications:Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols consistentlyReliable, flexible, and able to work overtime as neededCommitment to safety and patient careCertification by IAHCSMM or CBSPDWhy Work at Rome Health:Training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive team environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsChance to grow within a respected healthcare organizationSchedule:Full-time day shiftRotating weekends, nights, holidays, and on-call duty as needed
