Gentle Dental Albany Children's is looking for a compassionate, energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team!

Position Details
* Position: Pediatric Dental Assistant
* Schedule: Part-Time
* Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
* Location: Gentle Dental Albany Children's

What You'll Do
* Assist pediatric dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures
* Help children feel comfortable and supported throughout their visits
* Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
* Take radiographs and other diagnostic records as permitted by Oregon regulations
* Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
* Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
* Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
* Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care and a positive office experience
Qualifications
* Current Oregon Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Expanded Functions Preventive Dental Assistant (EFPDA) certification
* Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, compassionate approach to working with children
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
Additional qualifications that may increase starting pay:
* Previous pediatric dental assisting experience
* X-ray certification, as applicable
* Bilingual in English and Spanish
