Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across elementary and middle school grades by providing speech-language services in a supportive and collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity is designed for a committed, certified Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on making a difference and enjoys working with children from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Start your new assignment as soon as possible, working 37.5 hours per week from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, and experience the rewarding challenge of serving a diverse caseload of K-8 students.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
Certification for school-based SLP services
Experience with both elementary and middle school populations preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Passion for helping students succeed in academic and social settings
Core Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in K-8
Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized interventions
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective support plans
Document progress, maintain compliance with special education requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
Offer training and resources for staff and families as needed
Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere for student growth and communication development
