Job description
Alvita Care is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers for per diem and ongoing cases across Nassau County and surrounding communities. Facility or home care experience preferred.
You must hold a valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate issued in New York State. Please apply only if you are currently certified.
Pay: $19.65-$22.00/hour (depending on the case)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate required
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
Updated medicals/vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
Own reliable transportation and valid driver's license a plus
Completed drug screen or Habituation Form
Must complete Alvita Care onboarding to accept cases
BENEFITS: Per diem shifts available: pick up cases that fit your schedule
Flexible scheduling: short or long shifts, and we work with your availability
Minimum case length: 4 hours
Weekly pay every Friday: direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check
Tapcheck available: access your pay before payday

We specialize in In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management, and hold The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. All clients are private-pay (no Medicare/Medicaid).
We offer both private-duty one-on-one cases and facility-based care, including per diem shifts. All applicants complete a phone screening to ensure a good fit for both caregiver and client. Cases are only available to caregivers who complete onboarding.
