Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference for students near Loma Linda, CA as a full-time Occupational Therapist. This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing you with a chance to work hands-on with a mixed caseload of 50-55 students throughout the academic year.
Your expertise will be crucial in helping students achieve their goals and participate more fully in school activities. You will work collaboratively with educators and families, delivering tailored interventions that truly matter.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and current Occupational Therapy license and certification
Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to diverse student needs
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to individual student needs across a mixed caseload
Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update education plans
Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student support
Deliver both direct and consultative occupational therapy services, supporting students' academic and functional development
