Certified Medical AssistantWe are currently searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for our client in Austin, TX.Hours of Operation:Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmFriday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pmResponsibilities:Check In/OutReferrals In-call with 48 hoursScheduling AppointmentsConfirming AppointmentsEntering Demographics/InsuranceVerifying InsurancesCollecting Copays, Deductibles, & BalancesScanning New ReferralsMedical RecordsCleaning waiting areaPulling back patientsCollect Medical history, medications, allergies, & vitalsCreating encounterFilling out orders for next visitPrepping charts for visits (Obtain results of previous orders)Scheduling Procedures (Patient & Facility)Reviewing Prep with patientsConfirming Procedure appointmentsAuthorization on Procedures & MedicationsCleaning exam rooms
