Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) (Bilingual - Spanish)Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Pediatrics division in Lehigh Acres.Our Certified Medical Assistants:Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician usePerform patient intake; vital signs, medical history and medication reviewAssist physicians in the exam room during physicals and proceduresRecord patient chart in management system in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulationsThis position will require travel between pediatric offices as neededTo Be Successful – You Need:A certification or registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CMA/RMA)LPN certification/license will also be consideredGreat attention to detail and ability to record information accuratelySolid attendance recordExcellent and professional customer service skillsKnowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake and common medicationsOne year of medical assisting experience or combination of medical education and work experienceCPR certification or ability to obtain upon hireBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese is desiredWhat PPC Offers:Solid 30 years growing with and supporting our communitiesAward-winning physiciansAbility to grow within the organizationHealth, dental, vision and life insurances401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Uniform allowanceEmployee appreciation week and events
