Certified Medical AssistantNovant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, that includes an externship in a medical office clinical setting, required. Curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. (Certificate must be obtained within six months of hire).Certifications accepted:• CMA – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)• CCMA – National Health career Association (NHA)• RMA – American Medical Technologists (AMT)• RMA – American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)• RMA - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)• RMA - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)Experience: Previous work in a medical setting preferred. Licensure/certification/registration: CMA, CCMA, RMA. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096. Annual UAP agreement with provider required.
