Job description
CMA/RMA OpportunityWe are currently looking for a CMA/RMA to provide direct patient care under the supervision of appropriate staff in our practices. Our medical assistants interact professionally and courteously with patients, families and their colleagues to ensure the highest quality care and patient satisfaction.To support our delivery of quality patient care, you will:Managing patient flow and room patients, gathering pertinent information for the provider (e.g. gathering patient history, taking vital signs, specimen collection, blood draws, simple diagnostic testing, etc.) and prepping patients for office procedures.Respond to patient inquiries and prescription refill requests in a timely manner, and seek assistance as appropriate in referring patient inquiries to the correct source.It uses Electronic Medical Records and other computer and electronically based programs to provide safe, effective care and ensure accurate and appropriate documentation of clinical care in accordance with VRH policies and guidelines.Help out in a busy physician practice, helping teammates with faxing, copying, and other administrative tasks as needed.To join the Valley Regional team you will have:RMA or AAMA CMA certificationPrior experience in a physician practice setting preferredStrong focus on patient satisfaction and quality of careProficiency in using an Electronic Medical RecordStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a professional and courteous manner at all timesAbility to take direction and assist the team as neededDemonstrated ability to ensure confidentiality and HIPAA complianceCompensation:Min: $21.19Max: $32.85In addition to Dartmouth Health's highly competitive total compensation package, Valley Regional employees gain access to an array of exceptional benefits—including an on-site fitness center, innovative wellness initiatives with reimbursement, and generous tuition reimbursement.
