Summerwood PediatricsSummerwood Pediatrics is a well-established, progressive office. We are a primary care practice caring for children from birth to 22 years of age. Our team of board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, and NYS licensed nurses provides cutting-edge health care to patients in a friendly, welcoming environment.Job Responsibilities:Triage patients.Assist in our comprehensive on-site laboratoryphlebotomy and sample collectionPerform vision/hearing/EKG testing, document patient communications in the medical recordPerform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care teamEstablishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public, and co-workers.Qualifications:Completion of MA program withPhlebotomyKnowledge of medical processes; health care systems, structure, and functionsKnowledge of state law regarding medical assisting, practice guidelines, and office policies and proceduresExperience with electronic medical records. (Medent) a plusMust be available to work some evenings and occasional half-day Saturdays in the morning.Salary commensurate with experience.
