Medical Assistant (MA) - Specialty Medicine Clinic | Berwyn, PAFull-time, Temp-to-Hire opportunity — candidates must be open to converting to permanent staffPay rate up to $22/hour during contract periodUpon conversion to full-time staff, approximate pay rate is $21-$22/hourProgram: Local Contract Allied HealthCore shift hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PMWork hours may range between 6:45 AM and 6:00 PMTuesdays have extended hours until 8:00 PMThe MA must remain until the physician has completed care for all patients — flexibility to stay beyond the scheduled end time is requiredSchedules are adjusted as needed in cases of shifts worked over 8 hoursThe practice manager releases shift schedules one week in advanceBerwyn, PACandidates should be able to commute to this location in 30 minutes or less; traffic is always a factor when commuting in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs9 paid holidays per yearUp to 100+ hours of PTO per yearGenerous benefits packageEducation opportunitiesCareer growthRetirement savingsThe Medical Assistant (MA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focusSupports the delivery of high-quality careShares a passion for patient and customer centered careAssists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targetsProvides patient care through performance of patient preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and patient/family communicationMinimum 18 months of CMA experience requiredPrevious Epic experience preferredCandidates who need minimal training and are able to contribute to practice immediately are preferred
