Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Local candidates preferred (Hiring Manager seeking immediate local ties)Up to $22.00 per hour (Based on experience)Permanent/ Full Time positionFull Time, Day Shift M-F hoursOpenings in Family Medicine, Orthopedics, or Gastro ClinicWe are seeking a highly professional, patient-centered Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to join a dedicated clinical team. This role is ideal for a candidate who prides themselves on a polished professional appearance, emotional stability in high-pressure situations, and a genuine enjoyment of patient care. You will work under the direct supervision of an Office Nurse or Physician, ensuring the highest standards of clinical support and patient confidentiality.Clinical Procedures: Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, and lab tests within your scope of practice.Patient Vitals: Assist physicians with examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.Patient Navigation: Assist patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for specific treatments or procedures.Communication: Handle patient phone calls and provide instructions as directed by the Physician.Coordination: Assist with medical records, including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and documentation.Clinic Maintenance: Keep exam rooms cleaned, stocked, and requisition supplies to maintain inventory.Experience: At least 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Medical Assistant in a formal medical setting.Education: Completion of at least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or specialized training.Certification: Must maintain active CMA certification or hold a valid LPN license.Active BLS (AHA) Certification is required.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly, a non-judgmental approach, and a strong commitment to discretion.This position offers one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the region:2 Medical options, 3 Dental options, and Vision insurance.Company-paid Life Insurance (2x salary) and Long-Term Disability.403b Retirement Plan.Tuition reimbursement up to $4,000 per fiscal year for full-time employees.Flexible Spending Accounts (3 options), Short-Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Identity Theft Insurance.
