Medical AssistantYour future role at a glanceLocation: Tulsa, OKFacility: Ascension Medical GroupDepartment: General SurgerySchedule: Full-time | Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 8a - 5pHow you'll make an impact in this roleDeliver personalized patient care by greeting individuals warmly, preparing them for examinations, obtaining accurate vital signs, and assisting providers during clinical treatments.Streamline the patient-provider encounter through real-time documentation of symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and order transcriptions to ensure complete, high-quality medical records.Optimize exam room readiness by maintaining immaculate care spaces, ensuring essential clinical supplies are fully stocked and accessible for efficient treatments.Support seamless clinic operations by handling essential administrative tasks, managing incoming communications, and keeping patient data organized to maintain a stress-free care journey.What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Medical Assistant obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.Education:High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
