Certified Medical Assistant - Internal MedicineCertified Medical Assistant Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant Sign-On for Eligible New Hires Work location: 1615 Hospital Parkway - Suite 103, Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Thursday (7:45am-5pm), Fridays (7:45am-12pm) Department highlights: Fast-Paced Clinic with Growth and Development Opportunities Collaborative Work Environment Clinic is focused on Patient SatisfactionHere's What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED) CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED) Willing to consider a new CMA that has completed an Externship Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED) One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED) BCLS upon hire (REQUIRED) NCT - Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights May work in the front office as needed May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s) Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
