Medical Assistant Nct - MmgThe Medical Assistant Nct works under the general direction of the physician. This role will provide health care to individuals and families as instructed by the physician, perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the physician, participate in patient education, and enter appropriate documentation into patients' health record.Job Purpose:To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPsJob Requirements:Education:High School DiplomaGraduation from an accredited Medical Assistant programLicenses and/or Certifications:National/Registered Medical Assistant CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart AssociationNCT permit through the Texas Medical BoardWork Experience:1-3 years of professional Medical Assistant experience, preferredMethodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
