Medical Assistant/Patient RepresentativeHours of Work: 40 hoursDays Of Week: M-FWork Shift:Job Code: 9136FLSA Status: Non-ExemptJob Summary:The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients' health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.Inclement Weather Status: Required to reportJob Purpose:To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPsJob Requirements:Education: High School Diploma, Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant programLicenses and/or Certifications: National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart AssociationWork Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice, preferredMethodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
