Growing together.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipmentRoom patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG'sAdminister injections and collect specimensDocument patient care using electronic medical record softwareSchedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork as neededAssist physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants with minor, in-office proceduresYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GED1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office, clinic or hospital setting AND Nationally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification from one of the following agencies: NAHP, NCCT, AAMA, AMT, NHA.Preferred Qualifications:Experience as a Medical Assistant performing clinical back office duties including phlebotomy, injections, obtaining vital signs and recording medical historyExperience with Epic EMRPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
