Job description
Clinical CoordinatorCoordinates clinic operations and assist providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry and medical records management. Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary. Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records. Must demonstrate skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians. Possesses time management skills and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary.Minimum RequirementsAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationHigh School, equivalent or higher is requiredOne of the following certifications is required:1. Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)2. Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)3. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA) + either 2 years of experience or graduation from an in-person formal training programPreferred one or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting.Pay Range$18.00 - $24.74Other InformationFull time with benefits - 32 hours per weekDay shift:No weekends or on callAbout The Outer Banks HospitalThe Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services.
