Job DescriptionCertified Medical Coder – Outpatient & ED
\ NWork Arrangement: 100% Remote -
\ NJob Type: Contract "
\ NDuration : 8 weeks
\ NJob Category: Non-Clinical
\ NSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
\ NHours: 35 hours/week
\ NWeekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
\ NPay Rate: $35/hr on W2

JobSummary
\ NWe are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting
\ N
Required Qualifications
\ N Minimum 3- 5 years of outpatient medical coding experience .
\ N Emergency Room/ED coding experience required .
\ N Acute care coding experience.
\ N Proficiency with 3M Coding Application .
\ N Knowledge of HDS Coding Application .
\ N Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
\ N Strong understanding ofcoding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
\ N Strong computer skills.
\ N Ability to research andresolve coding issues.
\ N certification CCS CCP AHIMA RHIA RHIT
\ N High School Diploma/GEDrequired.
\ N English proficiency required.
