We look forward to you joining our team!Certified Medication Aide Key Responsibilities:Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.Must demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administration.Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.Certified Medication Aide Qualifications:State certification as a Nurse Aide is requiredState certification as a Medication Aide is requiredState approved medication administration certificationComplete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aideHighly developed observation skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsShift: 7am to 7pmBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance401k Retirement SavingsSupplemental Voluntary BenefitsPaid Time Off with Cash-Out and Donation OptionsPaid HolidaysAdditional employee perks
