Job description
Here at Alcoeur Gardens, Toms River, we are a 19-bedroom memory care community where we care for all levels of dementia and Alzheimer's residents.
nWe are currently interviewing for the following shifts:
nFridays 4 PM - 8 PM Weekends 7 AM - 1 PM & 4 PM - 8 PM WEEKDAYS AS NEEDED
nPer Diem for multiple shifts
nJob description: Part - Time CMA Needed ~ Must be certified as a Certified Medication Aide.
nDeliver routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to residents.
nCoordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
nFollow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
nRecord medication dosages and times.
nGather samples for analysis.
nUphold all health and safety standards.
nMonitor and document vital signs, changes in resident conditions, and any side effects from medications.
nAssist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
nCollaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
nProvide support for residents with Alzheimer’s disease/dementia.
nEngage with residents to promote emotional well-being and social interaction.
nEnsure cleanliness and safety within the living environment to enhance resident comfort.
