As a Certified Medication Aide (Weekend), you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality care is delivered to our residents.About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide (Weekend) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of medications, treatments, and other medical procedures under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This is a full-time position, working weekends, and requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the administration of medications, treatments, and other medical procedures as directed by licensed nursing staffMonitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staffProvide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and groomingMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident careCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement resident care plansDemonstrate a commitment to resident-centered care and respect for residents' dignity and autonomyRequirementsCertified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of TexasHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work weekendsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as neededAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationAt Garrison Nursing and Rehabilitation, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing top-notch care and rehabilitation services.
