Job description
Certified Medication Aide
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our dedicated team at Highgate at Wenatchee, a premier senior living community in Wenatchee, WA. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing medication management services and support. Responsibilities
Administer medications to residents as directed by physicians and/or licensed nurses
Monitor and record medication administration, including dosages and side effects
Assist with vital sign checks, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address medication-related issues
Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
Participate in medication cart audits and quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and medication storage guidelines
