Join the dedicated team at Levindale Hospital's Hall 1 Rehab/Subacute Care unit, where compassionate caregivers help patients recover, regain independence, and transition successfully through their rehabilitation journey. Hall 1 is a fast-paced subacute rehab environment caring for patients with a variety of medical conditions including post-surgical recovery, orthopedic rehabilitation, cardiac conditions, wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing needs.
Hall 1 promotes a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on safety, dignity, comfort, and high-quality care. Certified Medicine Aide (CMA)
The Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) provides direct resident care and administers non-narcotic medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role supports residents with daily living activities while promoting comfort, safety, dignity, and quality of care.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Promote residents' comfort, safety, and emotional well-being.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment.
Accurately document medications administered and resident responses.
Observe residents for medication side effects or changes in condition.
Report medication discrepancies or resident concerns to the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing.
Follow all facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention practices.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
High school diploma, GED, or high school certificate.
entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Current Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
Current Maryland Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) certification (CMT certification does not qualify).
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a team environment.
