Job description
Certified Nurse-Midwife / Women's Health NP / Experienced FNP – Outpatient OB/GYN
True Health NY is seeking an experienced, dependable and patient-centered women's-health advanced-practice clinician to join our Nassau County OB/GYN team. Qualified candidates may include:
New York-licensed certified nurse-midwives
New York-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioners
Experienced New York-certified Family Nurse Practitioners with substantial recent outpatient OB/GYN and prenatal-care experience
The clinician will work under a fixed recurring schedule divided between our Great Neck and Williston Park practices. This is a structured Nassau County position—not an open-ended float role across all True Health NY clinics.
The successful clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic, prenatal and postpartum care, maintain stable patient panels, perform approved office procedures and ensure timely follow-through on results, referrals and patient concerns.
No routine labor-and-delivery or overnight call is required. Candidates interested in an expanded hospital, delivery or call role may discuss that scope separately.
The expected starting schedule will generally include three clinical days at one Nassau County clinic and two clinical days at the other. The exact recurring schedule will be confirmed before employment begins.
Routine Brooklyn or Fresh Meadows coverage is not part of this position.
True Health NY is seeking a clinician who demonstrates:
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Consistent fulfillment of the two-site schedule
Sound clinical judgment
Appropriate physician consultation and escalation
Safe prenatal management and handoff
Respectful communication with patients and staff
Responsible patient-panel development
Timely chart and result completion
Appropriate coding support for personally performed services
Collaborative work across both Nassau clinics
Patient-volume expectations will be introduced through an onboarding ramp and adjusted for complexity, prenatal mix, procedures and clinical quality.
True Health NY expects to offer an annual base salary of $150,000–$180,000.
The final base salary will depend on licensure, certification, experience, prenatal scope, procedure competency, credentialing readiness, references, schedule and internal equity.
The clinician may also qualify for a written quality and productivity incentive after onboarding.
Benefits are expected to include:
Medical, dental and vision insurance
Employer-paid professional malpractice coverage
Paid time off
Paid holidays
CME time and allowance
401(k) retirement plan
Licensing, DEA and credentialing assistance
Potential sign-on assistance
Professional-development opportunities
Final benefit terms will be governed by applicable plan documents and the written employment offer.
Applicants should submit:
Current résumé or CV
New York professional license or certification status
National-certification status
DEA status
Earliest realistic start date
Summary of prenatal and gynecologic experience
List of office procedures currently performed independently
Approximate qualifying NP practice hours, where applicable
Selected applicants will complete an initial screen, leadership interview, Nassau County site visits, clinical-scope review, credentialing and malpractice review, professional-reference process and written-offer review.
True Health NY is an equal opportunity employer.
