Job description
Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA)The first-shift Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) works out of our Holland office and is a member of the interdisciplinary group working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Case Manager providing various services for hospice patients as necessary to meet their personal needs and to promote comfort. The Certified Nurse's Aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care given.Position Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):Providing personal care (bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, changing bed linen, washing hair and nail care)Assisting with patient safety needsAssisting with ambulation and exercises as assignedAssists with feeding, as neededTakes and records vital signsAssists with respite for caregiver when on-site, (as needed)Assists with range of motion and other simple procedures to maintain comfortPosition Qualifications Include:High school diploma or GEDOne year experience in hospice, long term care, or home careBe a Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) in the State of Michigan (CNA sponsorships may be available)Benefits Summary:Medical, dental and vision insuranceLife and disability insurance401k plan with employer matchPaid time offPaid holidaysContinuing education assistanceMileage reimbursementHospice of Holland is a financially strong non-profit organization deeply committed to providing the best care for hospice patients and their family members.
