Job description
Patient Care TechnicianProvides direct and indirect patient care under the guidance and direction of the registered nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health and social needs; comfort and safety measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid need; and elimination needs.Job RequirementsMinimum EducationGED or High School Diploma required or current high school student in pursuit of GED to be obtained within one calendar yearCertification indicating successful completion of a Nurse's Aide/Technician training and competency course preferred.BLS requiredMinimum Work ExperienceKnowledge of principles of patient hygiene, comfort, and safety measures.
