Certified Nurse Assistant - Chester Medical CenterCome join our fast growing Medical Surgical team at MUSC Health Chester Medical Center and we will help you find your passion in healthcare.The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT) works under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA/PCT performs multi-skilled duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the patient.Assists nursing team with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients. Assists patients with personal hygiene, dressing, walking. Changes bed linens and assists with patient transportation to tests and procedures. May serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse.Minimum Education: A high school diploma or GED required.Required Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations: If currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina; must keep certification current.
