Certified Nurse Assistant I - 6435US:CA:Oakland | CNA & Caregiver | Part Time, Hourly, < 35.99 hours a week25.00 - 30.00 USD per hourPosted a month agoDescriptionSt. Paul's Towers Retirement CommunityPay Range: $25.00-$30.00Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and SundaySummary: Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, DSD and/or DON, the CNA is responsible for performing routine patient/resident care according to policies and procedures and within acceptable nursing standards.Detailed responsibilities:Certified Nurse Assistant 1 (CNA, Residential) - Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfactionMedication ManagementFollows infection control techniques in performing patient/resident careObserves and reports signs and symptoms of changes in conditionExchanges information necessary for quality patient/resident carePrioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needsMaintains all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policyProvides proper documentation including but not limited to electronic record keepingPerforms all duties in a safe and efficient mannerUses equipment correctly and safely in performing patient/resident careFollows department safety protocols at all timesWears safety equipment as required for the jobReports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisorFollows highest standards of cleanlinessFollows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffsAttends all mandatory in-service meetingsComplies with all department and facilities policies and proceduresFront Porch is committed to the prevention of accidents by providing equipment with safeguards, personal safety equipment on jobs which require it, and adequate safety instructions to all employeesAll employees are required to follow safe work habits in order to prevent injuries to themselves, residents, visitors or other employeesCredentials: Essential: Certified Nurse AssistantEducation with Equivalent Qualifications: Essential: High School diploma or GEDExperience with Equivalent Qualifications: Nonessential: 0 Year with knowledge of State and Federal regulations 0 Year long term care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nurseCompensation Disclaimer: The actual compensation offered will depend on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications (as applicable).Front Porch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
