It's the way you want to be treated.Position Summary: Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Deliver nursing assistance to patient utilizing each patient's physical, psychological, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs under the supervision of the registered nurseCompletes patient care timely and accurately based on the prescribed plan of care in conjunction with the Registered NurseCompletes documentation according to specific hospital policyPerforms clerical / receptionist functions on the nursing unitsPromotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habitsProvides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of ConductRequired Qualifications :Education and Training :Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be 18 years of age or older.CPR certified.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.Work Shift Details:Registry, Rotating Shifts with weekend and holiday requirementsDepartment:4-3 TELEMETRY MEDICAL IP NURSING
