nThis is a full-scope opportunity combining ambulatory women’s health and inpatient obstetrical care, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care and ongoing women’s health needs.

n nWhat You'll Do
nAs a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the continuum of women’s health.
nResponsibilities may include:
nnnProvide prenatal and postpartum care
n
nnManage low-risk pregnancies
n
nnSupport labor management and vaginal deliveries
n
nnProvide inpatient rounding and postpartum care
n
nnDeliver routine gynecologic and preventive women’s health services
n
nnProvide family planning and contraceptive counseling
n
nnEducate and support patients through shared decision-making
n
nnCollaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians for higher-risk pregnancies and clinical escalation
n
nnParticipate in shared inpatient and call coverage
n
nnHelp create continuity between the ambulatory practice and hospital experience
n
n nWhat We're Looking For
nnnGraduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program
n
nnCurrent or eligible South Carolina APRN licensure
n
nnCurrent Certified Nurse Midwife certification through the appropriate national certifying organization
n
nnBLS certification
n
nnEligible for hospital privileges
n
nnCommitment to evidence-based, patient-centered women’s healthcare
n
nnStrong communication and collaboration skills
n
nnComfortable practicing in both ambulatory and inpatient environments
n
n nExperienced Certified Nurse Midwives and new graduates with strong clinical preparation are encouraged to apply.
