A full-time Certified Nurse Midwife is sought to provide comprehensive, patient-centered women's healthcare in John Day, Oregon.
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
Support women through labor and delivery, including management of complications
Direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients
Provide breastfeeding support and newborn care education
Lead and teach prenatal classes
Perform routine gynecologic and women's health exams for all ages
Provide contraception and menopause management
Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives
Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams
Opportunity to help develop policies and procedures for the Labor & Delivery department
Qualifications: Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery or related field
Prior labor & delivery and midwifery experience
AMCB certification
Oregon APRN license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Lactation Consultant certification preferred
Advanced clinical skills, including suturing and emergency care
