Seeking an experienced and passionate Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our supportive and collaborative OBGYN and Midwifery team. The ideal candidate will have a team-based approach and a solution-oriented mindset, providing a full scope of midwifery duties suitable for a rural setting. The CNM will collaborate closely with three OBGYNs, three midwives, and one women's health nurse practitioner, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Full-time, Varied Shift, Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm varied days, 1:3 call
In addition to women's health and family planning services, our midwives provide 24-hour on-call coverage for midwifery caseload patients. Deliveries occur in our beautiful birth center on the same floor as our Women's Wellness Center. We emphasize supporting physiologic birth and patient choice to achieve excellent outcomes. Nursing staff provide 1:1 support for women who have water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, intrathecal, or VBAC options. Hospital features spacious labor and delivery rooms, a comfortable call room suite, and full-time lactation counselor support.
Hospital holds the state's first Baby Friendly™ designated birth center by the United Nations.
