Your primary responsibility will be to provide non-invasive bedside support, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of every patient you serve. This role is essential to maintaining a healing environment and upholding our organization's core values in every interaction.This position is ideal for a dedicated caregiver who thrives in a fast-paced inpatient hospital setting. If you're passionate about helping others and committed to excellence, we'd love to have you on our team.Position Highlights at a Glance:Caseload: ~7 patientsAverage Patient Length of Stay: 10–14 daysConditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and moreTeam Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & moreDeliver basic patient care: bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)What You'll Need:High school diploma or GED (preferred)Current state CNA certification (State of TX)CPR required | ACLS & BLS preferred2+ years of experience in inpatient hospital setting (rehab experience preferred)Physical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift:A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods.Both gross and precise motor functions.Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.Possible exposure to bodily fluids.Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
