Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Participates in the patient/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, and skills under the direction of an RN. Provides support to ensure both the psychiatric and physical care of the patients are met. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients.ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily living activitiesAssist with personal hygiene needs and dressingAssist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercisesProvide adjunct patient careMonitor food intakeMonitor vital signsCollaborate with other healthcare professionalsRequirements:- BLS (AHA) - HS Diploma or equivalent - Completion of a certification course for Nursing Assistants - 1 year of experience in psychiatric or mental health facility - CPI, MAB, or equivalentShift:5 x 8 PM/Nights- or alternating shifts every other weekend required, no on-call required.
