Certified Nursing AssistantMcRae Women's Facility, McRae Helena, GA Employer: Centurion Health Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Day Shift Schedule: Part Time Hours between 7am-5:30pm Compensation: $17.00 – $22.00/hr.Centurion Health partners with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide comprehensive medical and behavioral healthcare services to individuals in custody. Our teams work in structured, supportive environments focused on safety, consistency, and quality care.The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at McRae Women's Facility, located in McRae-Helena, GA provides essential support to the nursing and medical team by assisting with daily patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a structured healthcare setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and basic patient needsMonitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staffSupport nurses with patient care tasks and clinical proceduresMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility protocolsEnsure a clean, safe, and organized patient care environmentAlways follow infection control and safety proceduresCommunicate effectively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team membersQualificationsActive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Georgia requiredCurrent and Active CPR certification requiredPrevious experience in corrections, long-term care, or hospital setting preferredMust have experience with conducting hearing test and administrative functionsStrong communication and observation skillsAbility to work in a structured, team-oriented environmentWhy Correctional HealthcareConsistent part-time schedule with predictable hoursStable work environment with clear expectationsOpportunity to gain diverse clinical experienceWork alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary teamJoin a team focused on providing quality care in a unique and structured clinical setting while building valuable healthcare experience.
