Certified Nursing AssistantA Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s), contributing to the utilization of the nursing process, under the supervision and direction of the RN, and performs all duties in accordance with department policies and procedures and scope of practice. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and want to work for a healthcare organization where rank doesn't matter, and camaraderie extends into personal life, Asante can be your next home.Salary Range: $19.27 - $26.50Shift Differentials:$1.21/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm$2.05/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am$1.05/hr. extra for working weekendsBecome a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNAs and RNs.Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction.Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care.Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards.Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families.Promote and maintain Asante's Vision and Values.CNA certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required upon start.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis – such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed.
