Your daily impact will include:Providing direct resident care, including assisting with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility.Taking and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.) and monitoring fluid intake/output.Assisting residents safely during transfers and ambulation using proper equipment (Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, walkers).Collaborating closely with the Charge Nurse to ensure a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for our residents.Recognizing and promptly reporting any changes in a resident's condition.RequirementsWhat We're Looking For (Requirements):Certification: Active and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Required)Clearances: Ability to successfully pass a background check, reference check, physical exam, and TB clearancePhysical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably handle long periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting.Arroyo Grande Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
