Pinckneyville Correctional Center - Pinckneyville, Illinois
Position Type: Full-Time Job Shift: Night Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Category: Medical Technician & Support
Hourly salary of $22.77+/hour. Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center located in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
CNA licensure in Illinois required
Training, experience or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Full-Time Night
The schedule includes rotating weekends.
