Job Opportunity at Warwick Forest Lifelong Health and RehabWarwick Forest Lifelong Health and Rehab is hiring for all shifts in Newport News, Virginia. The hiring range is $18.90 - $24.60 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.New part-time and full-time hires are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2,000!The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the supervision of the Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, LPN and is ultimately responsible to the Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable. The CNA performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to facility policy and procedures.What you will do:Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety/dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of the facility to include resident privacy and dignity.Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met. Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to the highest practical ability. Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.Qualifications Experience:1 year prior nurse aide work experience (preferred)Licenses and Certifications:Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) upon hire (required)CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 days (required)
