Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

nThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
nThe CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnOne year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
n
nnCertification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements
n
nnKnowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
