Come see what our facility and the community has to offer!Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OpportunityAs a CNA, you provide quality nursing care and promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You also provide individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.You Will:Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirementsMaintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.Document care in keeping with department policiesFollow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.You Currently:Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.Our Benefits:Medical / Dental / Vision InsurancePrescription Drug CoverageVacation/Sick/Paid Time Off (PTO) - Based on StatePaid Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401-KWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
