Job description
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct care and support to medically fragile students in the MDS classroom working 1:1 with special education students who have health-related needs. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to assistance with feeding, toileting, and personal care, positioning/repositioning, assisting with ambulation, transition students between wheelchairs, standers, and other adaptive equipment, obtaining vital signs, and supporting activities of daily living. CNAs will work under the direction of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) and perform additional duties as assigned based on individual student needs, training, and the CNA scope of practice.
