Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)The Gardens at Gettysburg is seeking personable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. CNAs provide essential resident care and services focused on meeting the personal needs, comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.Join our team and grow your skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day.Shifts AvailableFull-Time & Part-Time6:00 AM – 2:00 PM2:00 PM – 10:00 PM10:00 PM – 6:00 AMEvery other weekend required12-Hour CNA Shifts6:00 AM – 6:00 PM6:00 PM – 6:00 AMEligible for shift differential after 2:00 PMOnly required to work every 3rd weekendPart-Time Hour Options6:00 AM – 2:00 PM2:00 PM – 6:00 PM4:00 PM – 8:00 PMRate: $21.00–$23.00 per hourCNA ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs, as applicableProvide nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and ProceduresMaintain the safety, dignity, and well-being of residentsFollow the direction of the Charge Nurse and actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary teamAssist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming in accordance with established care plansAssist residents with getting out of bed and participating in activities according to their care plansInteract with residents, family members, coworkers, clinical staff, and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm mannerPerform additional duties as assigned in accordance with resident care plansCNA QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationMust have successfully completed a state-approved CNA training program and required examinationMust provide documentation of CNA certification upon applicationStrong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and dependable approach to resident carePosition DetailsJob Types: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRNPhysical Setting:Long-Term CareNursing HomeStandard Shifts:Day ShiftEvening ShiftNight ShiftWeekly Schedule: Rotating weekendsLicense/Certification: CNA certification requiredWork Location: In PersonApply today and join The Gardens at Gettysburg team!
