Join Our Team at Merwick Post AcuteMerwick Post Acute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, we offer a $4000 sign-on bonus for new full-time hires! The hourly range is $19.50 – $25.00/hr. based on experience and incentives, all inclusive. Full-time employees can waive all benefits and receive an extra $3.00 an hour. Shift differentials are available ($1.00 for 3pm -11pm & 11pm - 7am). Daily pay is available and more! Full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities are available. Shifts include 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Per-diem (PRN) shifts are any 8-hour shift, with one weekend per month required.At Merwick Post Acute, we believe that every interaction is an opportunity to provide comfort, dignity, and meaningful care. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents that enhances safety, comfort, and quality of life.Responsibilities for CNAs:Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.Qualifications for CNAs:Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.Our Core Values in Action:Passion – Bringing warmth, dedication, and genuine care to every resident interaction.Respect – Treating each resident with dignity, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to their individuality and comfort.Excellence – Delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality care that enhances residents' health, comfort, and quality of life every day.Benefits for CNAs:Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee engagement and culture committeeShift differentialsCompany-sponsored life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) resourcesJoin our team at Merwick Post Acute and Healthcare Center, a 200-bed Sub-Acute, and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
