This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for caregiving.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.Help residents maintain personal hygiene and overall comfort.Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing team.Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.Foster meaningful relationships with residents through companionship and supportive care.Encourage participation in activities and programs to promote social interaction and mental well-being.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with emergency care when needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Basic knowledge of nursing care procedures and safety practices.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Ability to assist residents with mobility and physical support as needed.Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.If you are a compassionate CNA with a passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of seniors, we'd love to have you on our team.Apply today to make a difference at Cambridge House!
