Job description
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing care to patients in acute care and telemetry monitored floors. This position involves a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for both day and night shifts.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with daily living activities and personal care.Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.Maintain patient hygiene and comfort within the acute care environment.May work as a sitter to provide additional support and supervision for patients as needed.Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care for patients.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year experience preferred in an acute care setting.Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.Reference checks should be submitted via email; phone calls for reference checks are not accepted.
