Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Long-Term CareSpecialty: Long-Term CareLocation: Lovell, WyomingEmployment Type: Travel ContractAssignment Length: 10 weeksSchedule: 40 hours per week; schedule variesShift: Evenings/NOC — 3:00 PM–11:00 AM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, or 11:00 PM–7:00 AMStart Date: October 11, 2026Position OverviewNuWest is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 10-week travel contract in Lovell, Wyoming. In this long-term care role, you will provide hands-on daily care to residents on evening and NOC shifts, supporting their comfort, safety, and dignity while working closely with the nursing team. Weekend coverage is required as needed, with no holiday or on-call coverage. The ideal candidate is a dependable, compassionate CNA who takes pride in building trust with residents and delivering consistent, attentive care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and feeding, while promoting independence and dignitySupport safe mobility through transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and proper use of gait belts and mechanical lifts, following fall-prevention protocolsProvide incontinence and perineal care, assist with catheter care, and monitor skin integrity to prevent pressure injuriesObtain and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output; promptly report changes in resident condition, behavior, or appetite to the charge nurseAssist with meal service, feeding, and hydration in accordance with prescribed diets, and accurately document intakeDocument all care provided accurately and in a timely manner in the resident record, and participate in shift hand-off communicationMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment by making beds, changing linens, stocking supplies, and following infection control and standard precautionsCommunicate respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team; protect resident rights, privacy, and HIPAA compliance; perform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant certificate valid in the State of WyomingCurrent BLS certificationPrior experience providing direct resident care in a long-term care or skilled nursing settingAbility to meet the physical demands of the role, including extended periods of standing and safely lifting, transferring, and repositioning residentsMust be able to pass required background checks and drug screeningHousingHousing is not provided for this assignment.
